Portable electric brake controllers are perfect for single or tandem axle trailers and caravans up to 1990kg ATM.
They are easy to use and can be set up in minutes.
They can be used across multiple tow vehicles and offer an alternative to traditional hard wired units.

IMPORTANT: THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR 12V VEHICLES ONLY (NOT 24V).
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON TRAILERS OR CARAVANS OVER 1990KG ATM WITH BREAKAWAY BRAKES AS IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO CHARGE THE BREAKAWAY BATTERY.

Installation Guide

NOTE: THIS IS TO BE USED AS A GUIDE ONLY. IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THEY ARE PROFICIENT IN THE USE OF THE PRIMUS IQ ELECTRIC BRAKE CONTROLLER. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE PRIMUS IQ AS WELL AS THE MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE, PLEASE VISIT THE PRIMUS IQ WEBSITE.

STEP 1: CONNECT YOUR TRAILER PLUG TO YOUR CAR SOCKET VIA THE ADAPTER PROVIDED.
STEP 2: RUN THE CABLE TO THE FRONT OF THE CAR (DASH AREA) AND
SECURE THE PRIMUS IQ BRAKE CONTROLLER LEVEL AND IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL.
STEP 3: PLUG THE 12V NARVA PLUG INTO YOUR VEHICLES 12V SOCKET.
STEP3: ADJUST THE PRIMUS IQ SETTINGS TO SUIT THE TRAILER LOAD.

PIN 1: YELLOW (LEFT INDICATOR)
PIN 2: BLACK (CHARGE)
PIN 3: WHITE (EARTH)
PIN 4: GREEN (RIGHT INDICATOR)
PIN 5: BLUE (SERVICE BRAKES)
PIN 6: RED (BRAKE LIGHTS)
PIN 7: BROWN (TAIL LIGHTS)
